Some of the best trips that I’ve been on are:

-New York City, my parents took me to see the Radio City Rockettes for my birthday. It is the prettiest place at Christmas-time

-Toronto, Ontario, I’ve been there too many times to count!

-Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming/Montana, my family took a 2-week cross country trip there two summers ago, and on that same trip we went to St. Louis, MO; Amarillo, TX; Albuquerque, NM; Flagstaff, AZ; The Grand Canyon; Salt Lake City, UT; Bloomington, MN. Plus, we stopped in a few little towns along the way.

-Our cottage at Crystal Beach, Ontario. We go every summer with my mom’s best friend’s family. They have two children who are about the ages of my brother and me. We go to the beach everyday, unless it’s raining, and generally just goof around.

Other than traveling, I have many interests. I love music, TV, and especially playing the flute. I also love to hang out with my three BFF’s at the mall, and just be a normal teenager.

My current interests in music at the moment are John Mayer and the soundtrack to Sweeney Todd, in fact they’re the only thing that I’m listening to these days. I love every song that John Mayer has ever released, mostly because they all have deeper messages that are hidden underneath the suface of the words. His music isn’t like the pop junk that’s out there right now, instead it’s full of heart and I think he really believes in everything that he sings about. If you’ve ever heard him sing live, no recording can ever do him justice again. As for the Sweeney Todd soundtrack, I think it is the best musical soundtrack I’ve ever heard. Even better than the classics like The Phantom of the Opera and West Side Story. Surprisingly, Johnny Depp has a really good voice, and so does Alan Rickman. Also, I just watched Rent, and I love the music from it. La Vie Boheme is so funny, and I love Rent.

Listening to music is practically my life, but I also play some of my own. I play the flute and have become pretty accomplished in my five years of playing. I’ve been chosen to play in Erie County and Area-All-State more than once, and hope to play a good audition for the Greater Buffalo Youth Symphony Orchestra, and maybe even–I’m keeping my fingers crossed–get chosen to play with them.

Music is practically my life, but I also love to watch T.V. My all-time favorite T.V. show is Heroes. It is so confusing but once you see the first episode you get completely hooked. Plus, I love Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia. I also really enjoy watching American Idol, mostly because it revolves around music, but also because it turns ordinary people into total celebrities practically overnight. And no, I’m not one of those people who feel sorry for the bad singers. I laugh!!! So You Think You Can Dance is the best show that’s on during the summer months in the U.S.

My BFF’s, Sarah and Jenny, are the coolest people on the planet, of course I might be a little biased. I have a ton of other friends, but I’m pretty sure my two closest friends are actually my sisters and we were separated at birth. We do everything together. We go to the same school, go shopping together, sleepover at each other’s houses, we even copied the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and share a pair of pants. I love my besties sooooo much.
